San Andreas Advertisement Policy
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has, for a while, been asking the Federal Bureau of Investigation for help with enforcing communication laws. Since San Andreas sees a huge crime rate compared to other states, the FBI has been hard at work studying advertisements and other forms of public communication. We've come up with a list of commonly used code-words as well as several other things that have deemed illegal. If you break any of the following policies, you will be charged with a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Violation.
Unidentified Materials
Materials have been around in San Andreas for a long time. While they aren't illegal to sell or possess, since they can be used for a wide range of activities, there are still some restrictions to the selling of materials. An "FCC Violation" and possibly "Conspiracy to use materials with an unlawful intent" will be handed out to those who mention the below phrases. The charges are not limited to the below words.
Illegal Words and Phrases Gun Materials Gun Mats Weapon (Mat)erials Buying materials for weapons
Firearms
Selling firearms through an advertisement system is stictly prohibited. The deal must be done inside a licensed, weapon supplier building. If the selling or buying of firearms is done in public, it will count as Firearms Trafficking. Selling illegal weapons, regardless of holding a sellers' permit is also considered firearms trafficking and will result in your permit being removed. An "FCC Violation" and "Conspiracy to commit firearms trafficking" charge will be handed to the below words and phrases. The above charges are not limited to the below words.
Illegal Words and Phrases Desert Eagle Deagle MP5 (M4)A1 Sniper Rifle Shotgun SPAS-12 Spastic Eagle from the desert MP5 Player M4 Player Water guns Toy guns Any sort of gun posters, statues, replicas, ect. Capitalized words like "SPASghetti" Highlighted phrases like "Buying [spas]ghetti with [12] noodles"
Marijuana, Cocaine, and other Narcotics
Narcotics trafficking is also a serious charge that often-times comes up in advertisements. Much study has been done and we have come up with a list of illegal words that more often than not, relate to narcotics. Although marijuana can possibly be legal (depending on the law, as it fluctuates often), selling marijuana is strictly prohibited unless the person is a certified doctor by the Fire Department of San Andreas. People found to be buying or selling narcotics will be charged with an "FCC Violation" as well as "Conspiracy to commit drug trafficking." The below words will give examples of illegal words, but we are not limited to charging for these words.
Illegal Words and Phrases Heroin Marijuana Pot Grass Pottery Weed Mary Jane Mari Juana Cocaine Crack Crackers Cracked Pottery Sugar White powder Capitalized words like "CRACKers" Highlighted words like "[Cra]shing your car is bad for your du[ck]s"
Prostitution
Once again, sex for money is another serious crime that often-times comes up in advertisements. If any of the following words appear in an advertisement, you will be charged with an "FCC Violation" and "Conspiracy to solicit prostitution." Once again, those charges are not limited to the below phrases.
Illegal Words and Phrases Prostitutes Sex for money Looking to have a good time Willing to suck cock for money Looking for someone that can give a fun time
Other Illegal Uses
While not all crimes can be mentioned here, if we believe you are for any reason trying to commit a crime, we won't hesitate to charge you an "FCC Violation" and any other appropriate charges. Here are some examples of illegal things that can be charged for, but once again, this list is not complete as there are a large range of illegal activities that can be solicited through advertisements. These acts can be found through capitalized words, highlighted words, or otherwise direct words.
Possible Crimes Conspiracy to murder Conspiracy to murder for hire Conspiracy to buy or sell an endangered species of animal Verbal assault
General Misuse
Advertisements are great for selling and buying things. They are also great for various other things. We wish to keep the advertisements clean and meaningful, so, if you happen to curse at all with words like "Fuck", "Bitch", or "Whore"; or otherwise use the advertisement system for something irrelevant, you will be charged with an "FCC Violation."
